Superior Fall 2021 Updates 10/16/20

The 2020 Superior Fall Trail Race was cancelled due to COVID 19. The 2020 event would have been our 30th annual. We hope to be able to hold the race in 2021. Our ability to hold the race will be contingent on where things are at with the pandemic generally, state guidelines for running events, being able to secure permits with multiple agencies / municipalities and our ability to responsibly host a safe and fun event that does not put any runner, volunteer or community member at risk.  If it can be held, the 2021 race will almost certainly take place on Friday September 10 and Saturday September 11, 2021 (the race always being held the weekend after Labor Day). Please note that since race registration for this race is conducted via lottery, and with the 2020 event being cancelled, those that were registered for the 2020 race will have first dibs / guaranteed entry should they choose to register – this will greatly reduce the total number of new spots available for the 2021 race should we be able to hold it. Those that were accepted into the 2020 race will still need to register themselves when registration opens and pay the entry fee. While obviously progress with the pandemic and associated timelines are out of control, we will aim to provide updates regarding the event, registration, etc. sometime this late Winter / early Spring.
